Lanegan, and I say this lovingly, he’s one of the meanest guys I know that I like. And you know, he’s not a mean guy at all, he’s a quiet guy and if he were here he’d be standing in the corner over there. When he’s with me and his friends, he’s one of the funniest, most affable, likeable guys, but I look at him and I think of the difference between famous and infamous. When someone’s famous, you go, “Oh there’s Lanegan, let’s go talk to him!” and when they’re infamous, you go, “Oh there’s Lanegan, don’t go talk to him!
